Founder & Principal Designer
Heather Place
Heather believes a well-designed space should work as beautifully as it looks. With nearly twenty years in furniture and design, she brings an intuitive eye for proportion, texture, and flow — but it’s her understanding of how people live in their homes that makes her work stand out.
She combines classic design principles with real-life functionality, guiding clients toward spaces that welcome, inspire, and last for generations.
Interior Designer
Tracy
Based in Redding, California, Tracy brings a B.A. in Art & Interior Design from Chico State and over a decade of hands-on experience in residential and commercial interior design. At Plaza Interiors, she’s known for creating modern, welcoming spaces through smart space planning, color consulting, and custom drapery design.
Tracy works closely with clients across Shasta County to source modern and transitional furniture, assist with lighting layouts, and bring concepts to life using AutoCAD and other design tools. Whether you need help with a single room or a full-home furniture plan, she makes the process clear, personal, and inspiring.
Kitchen & Bath Design Specialist
Shelley
Shelley’s love for home design began early, helping her family select and design homes during moves across California. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for creating thoughtful, livable spaces.
After earning a degree in Finance and helping grow her husband’s dental practice, Shelley launched her own interior design business in Redding, California. She now specializes in kitchen and bath design, combining timeless aesthetics with practical functionality to help clients design spaces that reflect their lives and routines.
Outside of design, you’ll often find Shelley in her garden — applying her creative eye outdoors with the same care she brings to interiors.
